The first thing you can do is talk to yourself, I think that no one beside you gets you better and you can understand yourself, also can advise yourself better than anyone else can, so try to sit quietly and give yourself a piece of your mind and just try to understand the main reason of your sadness and what you can do about it? if in case you don’t get the answers that you need, then the second best thing is seek help from someone you can completely trust and who will help you get a solution about your problem. This might be your friend, mother, father, brother or a sister you are close to.
Believe me talking to someone who understands your feeling works every time, discussing the problems will always help to demolish them and you will feel a peace, relaxation in your mind.
After that you can try to go on and do the next best thing you love to do, it can be anything. For me I personally love to draw, or dance around the house with a slight loud music also along with that I love to enjoy a good food or sometimes a nice peaceful nap does the magic!¡ You can also cry, cause tears with help you release your stress and it will give you a peace in your heart and mind.
